We are happy to inform you that the Jury and the board of the ISFMF decided to add one more name to our Lifetime Achievement Award winners. Along with Clint Eastwood and Ryuichi Sakamoto, ISFMF will award Golden Pine to Gerald Fried.

Fried is an Oscar-nominee and Emmy-winning American composer who collaborated with Stanley Kubrick on his early films, such as The Killing (1956) and Paths of Glory (1957), but who was also one of the most important composers in TV industry (Shotgun Slade, Riverboat, Star Trek, Mission: Impossible, Roots,…).

Fried recently worked with director Peter Kershaw on films 20 Ways and Psyche Ascending. His score from 20 Ways is nominated for Best Original Score (Short feature) Crystal Pine Award at the ISFMF.
