Greatest of the Week: THOMAS NEWMAN

Greatest of the Week: THOMAS NEWMAN

Thomas Newman (born 1955) is a member of a film-scoring dynasty, including his father Alfred Newman, who was one of the ‘architects’ of film music. Thomas Newman is also the first composer in our gallery Greatest of the Week. With these YouTube previews below we celebrate his unique capability of using simple, yet complex methods to achieve bold and rich, if not monumental atmosphere in all of his work.
