The 2021 edition of ISFMF from 23 – 24 of October

The Festival Board is so thrilled to announce that this year 1.015 films competed for Crystal Pine Award in the following categories:

Best Original Score | Feature Film,

Best Original Score | Documentary Feature,

Best Original Score | Short film (live-action, documentary and animated),

Best Original Score | Series,

Best Original Song | Feature Film.


After publishing the film selection, the nominations in each category will be officially announced on October 17th 2021, and the winners will be announced on October 24th.

Unfortunately, the current measures related to the pandemic of Covid prevents us to held a Gala awarding ceremony in so many ways, but we will make sure the beautiful Crystal Pine Award reaches its winners.

The Special Crystal Pine Award this year will be given to the Croatian composer, conductor, pianist, songwriter, librettist and producer – Alfi Kabiljo. To celebrate his important achievements in music for film and theatre in Croatia, but also internationally, ISFMF will screen online an interesting interview with him moderated by Ozren K. Glaser, composer and ISFMF Artistic Director. Additionally, ISFMF will share a beautiful musical interpretation of Alfi Kabiljo’s scores given by Jean-Michel Bernard, so well-known French composer and pianist, member of ISFMF Artistic Board.
