Doreen Ringer-Ross – is Vice President Creative for Film, TV & Visual Media at Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI), one of the four biggest American music copyright organisations. She launched some of the key programmes for composers such as Sundance Composer’s Lab and BMI Film/TV Composers Conducting Workshop. Ringer-Ross is known as one of film and television-music’s foremost executives, and she proves that with a large number of composers she signed to BMI, such as Cristopher Young, Aaron Zigman, John Ottman, David Holmes.
John Ottman – leading film composer and an award winning film editor. Ottman has often completed both monumental tasks on the same films. Such remarkable double duties have included The Usual Suspects, X-Men 2, Superman Returns, Valkyrie, and Jack the Giant Killer. He has also held producer roles on several of these films, as well as directing, editing and scoring Urban Legends 2.
Stephen Warbeck – is an English Oscar winning composer. His breaktrough was marked by his work on a television drama Prime Suspect, but it was the film Shakespeare in Love for which he received an Oscar. Not only was he nominated for four BAFTAs, a Grammy and an European Film Award but he won a BMI Film Music Award for Shakespeare in Love and a Jury Prize for Feature Films at Cannes International Film Festival in 2011 for Polisse.
Richard Bellis – is an American composer best known for his work on mini-series It for which he won an Emmy. In film industry, he made his debut as a child actor, and he continued as a musical director for 60’s stars’ such as Bobby Sherman and Dixie Cups. Bellis ia a former president of the Society of Composers & Lyricists, and a former governor of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciencies better known as Emmy Awards.
Mark Dornford-May – British/South-African director, a Golden Bear Award winner at the Berlin Film Festival. Mark Dornfornd-May and his company, including composer Charles Hazlewood, adapted the stage production of Georges Bizet’s opera Carmen to create the film U-Carmen eKhayelitsha, with Pauline Malefane in the leading role. The film garnered a number of awards, including the Golden Bear for Best Film.
Michael Minkler – One of the best sound masters in Hollywood with three Oscars® and 11 nominations, including three BAFTA wins. He is responsible for mind-blowing sound in films such as TRON, JFK, True Lies, Black Hawk Down, Collateral, Chicago, Kingdom of Heaven, Dreamgirls, Into the Wild, Inglourious Basterds, Django Unchained, The Hateful Eight and many more.
Robert Townson – One of the most eminent and prolific film music producer in the world, the former V-President of Varèse Sarabande (part of Universal Music Group), with more than 1500 issued records.
Randy Thom – A double Oscar® winner is one of the Hollywood’s most important and respected sound designers, with even 15 Oscar® nominations and two wins. His masterful works include films like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Forrest Gump, Contact, Cast Away, Harry Potter, The Polar Express, The Incredibles, War of the World, Ratatouille, How to Train Your Dragon, Flight, The Revenant and many more. Randy Thom is a Director of Sound Design at Skywalker Sound, the biggest and most important sound workshop in the world, which is also a part of George Lucas’ Lucasfilm Company.
Richard King – Sound designer and the winner of four Academy Awards®, responsible for the magnificent sound in Dunkirk, Interstellar, The Dark Knight Rises, Inception, Thor, The Dark Knight, War of the Worlds, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, Master and Commander and Signs.
Jean-Michel Bernard – is a French pianist, composer, educator, orchestrator, and music producer. He is well known for regularly writing, performing, and scoring for films, such as The Science of Sleep, Hugo, Paris-Manhattan, Ca$h, and Be Kind Rewind.
Jaco van Dormael – Belgian director, an award-winning artist (BAFTA, Cesar, EFA, awards at Cannes and Venice…), best known for his film Mr. Nobody with Jared Leto in a leading role. His complex films are especially noted for their respectful and sympathetic portrayal of people with mental and physical disabilities. His latest film Le tout nouveau testament was nominated for a Golden Globe.
Diego Navarro – internationally awarded composer and conductor, one of the most renowned names in Spanish film music nowadays. His music and performances as an orchestra conductor have been released by prestigious Hollywood film soundtrack record label Varèse Sarabande, Quartet Records, Rosetta Soundtrack, among others. Navarro is the father and director of FIMUCITÉ, the world-renowned Tenerife International Film Music Festival
John Patrick Corigliano – American-Italian composer of classical music and a professor of music from Boston, an expert in film.
Gorka Oteiza – Founder and director of film music site SoundTrackFest, an independent source of information and a growing reference for film music festivals and concerts, Gorka Oteiza has always been interested in soundtracks. Gorka has attended and covered many European film music festivals in the last 10 years (Fimucite, Ubeda Festival, Cordoba Festival, MOSMA, Hollywood in Vienna, Film Music Prague, Krakow Film Music Festival, SoundTrack_Cologne, World Soundtrack Awards…), collaborating with Spanish film music websites and festivals, writing articles, reviews, and keeping track of live events.
Gary Marlowe – musician, composer and music producer. During his career he received five nominations for Jerry Goldsmith Awards, and nominations for Hollywood Music in Media Awards and Mac Ophüls Preis for best film music. Besides film music, Marlowe develops his own music instalations in co-operation with visual artists such as Richard Nonas and Gianni Moretti.
Selma Prodanović – Selma Prodanovic is an internationally awarded entrepreneur and philanthropist. Named Startup-Grande-Dame by the media, she is famous for her influence and her ability to create, develop, and connect business potential, also very active in film and music business.
Ozren K. Glaser – Croatian composer, director, writer and producer; also a founder and Artistic Director of the International Sound & Film Music Festival.
